If you've decided with a healthcare professional that an inositol supplement is appropriate for you, it's worth looking beyond the word "inositol" on the label.

The international guideline specifically notes that the quality, consistency and regulation of nutrient supplements can vary. This is one reason it's important to look at the full formulation rather than assuming that every inositol supplement is the same.
